Canada’s Ministry of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship has announced a significant move to benefit H-1B visa holders and their families. In an official statement, the ministry revealed that it will introduce a program allowing 10,000 American H-1B visa holders to work in Canada through an open work-permit stream. Effective from July 16, 2023, H-1B visa holders in the US, along with their immediate family members, will have the opportunity to apply for work or study permits in Canada.
